Southwest Monsoon Withdrawal

The line of withdrawal of the southwest monsoon passes through 30.5°N / 73.5°E, Sri Ganganagar, Nagaur, Jodhpur, Barmer, and 25.5°N / 70°E.

Conditions are favorable for further withdrawal of the southwest monsoon from additional parts of Rajasthan and some areas of Punjab and Gujarat during the next 2 days.
Synoptic Features
-
The Low Pressure Area over north Telangana & adjoining Vidarbha has become less marked at 0530 IST today.
-
However, the associated cyclonic circulation persists over the same region and extends up to 4.5 km above mean sea level, tilting southwestwards with height.

A trough runs from this cyclonic circulation over north Telangana & adjoining Vidarbha to the south Maharashtra coast across north interior Karnataka, between 3.1 and 4.5 km above mean sea level.

An upper air cyclonic circulation persists over northeast Bangladesh between 3.1 and 5.8 km above mean sea level.

Another upper air cyclonic circulation persists over central Assam at 3.1 km above mean sea level.

A trough in the westerlies at about 1.5 km above mean sea level, roughly along Longitude 84°E to the north of Latitude 23°N, persists.

An upper air cyclonic circulation persists over the southeast Bay of Bengal between 3.1 and 5.8 km above mean sea level.

A cyclonic circulation persists over the West Central and Northwest Arabian Sea between 1.5 and 5.8 km above mean sea level, tilting southwards with height.

Scattered showers and light to moderate rainfall (5 to 35 mm) are likely some days mainly during 18th-23rd for Saurashtra and from 16th onwards for Gujarat Region. Gujarat Region expected to get more quantum and coverage compared to Saurashtra & Kutch.

દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમ મોન્સૂન ની પાછી ખેંચણી ની રેખા 30.5°N / 73.5°E, શ્રી ગંગાનગર, નાગૌર, જોધપુર, બારમેર અને 25.5°N / 70°E પરથી પસાર થાય છે.

આગામી 2 દિવસ દરમ્યાન રાજસ્થાન ના વધારાના ભાગો, તેમજ પંજાબ અને ગુજરાત ના કેટલાક વિસ્તારો માંથી મોન્સૂન પાછું ખેંચાવાની પરિસ્થિતિ અનુકૂળ છે.

ઉત્તર તેલંગાણા અને આસપાસ ના વિદર્ભા ઉપર આવેલ Low Pressure Area આજે 0530 IST સુધીમાં નબળું પડી ગયું છે.

જોકે, તે સંકળાયેલું યુએસી એ જ વિસ્તારમાં 4.5 km ઉપર સુધી ચાલુ છે, અને ઊંચાઈ સાથે દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમ તરફ ઝુકેલું છે.

આ ચક્રવાતી ફેરવાણાથી ઉત્તર આંતરિક કર્ણાટક પરથી દક્ષિણ મહારાષ્ટ્ર કિનારા સુધી એક ટ્રફ 3.1 થી 4.5 km વચ્ચે યથાવત છે.

એક યુએસી ઉત્તર પૂર્વ બાંગ્લાદેશ ઉપર 3.1 થી 5.8 km વચ્ચે યથાવત છે.

એક અન્ય યુએસી મધ્ય આસામ ઉપર 3.1 km ની ઊંચાઈએ યથાવત છે.

પશ્ચિમી પવનમાં ટ્રફ અંદાજે 1.5 km ઉપર, આશરે Longitude 84°E થી Latitude 23°N ના ઉત્તરે સુધી યથાવત છે.

એક યુએસી દક્ષિણ પૂર્વ બંગાળના ખાડી ઉપર 3.1 થી 5.8 km વચ્ચે યથાવત છે.

પશ્ચિમ મધ્ય અને ઉત્તર પશ્ચિમ અરબ સાગર ઉપર 1.5 થી 5.8 km વચ્ચે એક યુએસી યથાવત છે, જે ઊંચાઈ સાથે દક્ષિણ તરફ ઝુકેલું છે.

ગુજરાત રિજિયન માં વરસાદ વિસ્તાર અને માત્રા સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ ની તુલનામાં વધુ રહેવાની શક્યતા છે.
