The Well Marked Low Pressure yesterday located around Madhya Pradesh Gujarat border has moved Westwards and merged with the cyclonic circulation over Saurashtra and nearby Arabian sea. It has weakened to a Low Pressure and now lies near North Saurashtra Kutch region. It is expected to move in the Westward direction and enter the Arabian Sea within 24 hours. The Barometer pressure at Rajkot was 991.2 mb. this morning recoreded by at RingRoad Weather Station. The 10 minute average wind speed is 33 Kms. per Hour with wind gusts of upto 60 kms. per Hour during the last two hours. The weather conditons over Saurashtra and Kutch will yeild very heavy rains on the West Coastal Saurashtra region and Kutch.

9th August:Very heavy rains are expected to continue over Coastal areas of Jamnagar, Porbundar and Junagadh Districts. Rest of the places in these districts will get heavy rains. In a nut shell, rainfall activity will be mainly West side of the line from Morvi -Rajkot- Veraval.
10th August: Rainfall activity for Kutch, Okha Dwarka area will then shift towards Pakistan.
