Weather Conditions on 22nd February 2020
Observations:
The Maximum Temperature had increased to between 35-37 C on 17th-18th February and subsequently decreased to slightly above normal yesterday over most centers. Currently the normal Maximum Temperature is around 31 C and normal would increase to 32 C next week for most centers. The Minimum Temperature today is near normal at most places over Gujarat, Saurashtra & Kutch. The current normal Minimum Temperature over most Centers is 16 C.
Minimum 22nd February 2020 & Maximum Temperature on 21st February 2020 was as under:
Rajkot 16.0 C & 33.3 C
Keshod 15.6 C & 32.0 C
Kandla(A) 15.2 C & 31.5 C
Bhuj 16.2 C & 31.0 C
Ahmedbad 17.1 C & 32.4 C
Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 23rd February to 29th February 2020
The winds will be from Northeast and North on till 26th February. The wind direction is expected to be from Northwest and West during 27th-29th February. The winds speed will be 15-22 km/hour during 23rd-24th, and 10-15 km/hour during 25th-27th and 15-25 km/hour during 28th-29th February. Due to westerly winds the morning Humidity will increase from 27th till end of Forecast period. Possibility of Foggy conditions over many parts of Gujarat State on 28th-29th February and foggy over limited areas on 27th February.
The Maximum Temperature expected to be gradually increase and will be above normal and is expected to increase further to 35-37 C during 26th to 28th February at some places. 28th/29th Morning is expected to be colder than rest of the Forecast period. The Minimum temperature is expected to be above normal when some places will be between 16 C to 19 C. The Minimum Temperature is expected to decrease marginally on 28th/29th February.
