Current Weather Conditions on 5th February 2024
From IMD Morning Bulletin Dated 5th February 2024:
Jet Stream Winds of the order up to 130-140 knots at 12.6 km above mean sea level are prevailing over North India.
The Western Disturbance as a trough in middle tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level now runs roughly along Long. 71°E to the north Lat. 32°N.
The induced cyclonic circulation now lies over northwest Rajasthan & neighborhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level.
The cyclonic circulation over east Bangladesh & neighborhood extending up to 1.5 km above mean sea level persists.
Gujarat Observations:
The Maximum Temperature is about 4 to 6 C above normal over most parts of Gujarat.
Maximum Temperature on 4th February 2024 was as under:
Ahmedabad 33.6 C is 4 C above normal
Rajkot 35.0 C which is 6 C above normal
Amreli 35.8 C which is 5 C above normal
Surat 35.6 C which is 4 C above normal
Vadodara 34.8 C is 4 C above normal
Bhuj 32.4 C which is 4 C above normal
The Minimum Temperature is near normal to 4 C to 7 C above normal over most parts of Gujarat.
Minimum Temperature on 5th February 2024 was as under:
Ahmedabad 20.0 C which is 7 C above normal
Rajkot 18.4 C which is 4 C above normal
Amreli 18.4 C which is 6 C above normal
Deesa 18.0 C which is 6 C above normal
Vadodara 18.4 C which is 5 C above normal
Bhuj 19.2 C which is 7 C above normal
Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 5th February To 12th February 2024
Winds will be mainly from Westerly & Northwesterly direction till 7th February morning and from mainly Northerly direction (overall from Northwest and Northeast direction). Wind speed 10 to 20 kms/hour speed during the forecast period. Due to Westerly winds and high morning humidity, Foggy conditions expected over scattered areas of Kutch & Western Saurashtra on 6th/7th February. Off and on scattered clouds expected on some days (7th to 9th February) of the forecast period and one more day during the forecast period.
Currently the Normal Minimum Temperature is 12 C to 14 C for most parts of Gujarat. The Minimum Temperatures are expected to be decrease by 3 to 4 C towards near normal to slightly above normal during the forecast period with a range of 12 C to 16 C over most parts of Gujarat. Maximum Temperature expected to also decrease by 3 to 4 C towards near normal to slightly above normal during the forecast period in the range 28C to 32 C against the normal Maximum Temperature of 29 to 31 C.

તારીખ 5 ફેબ્રુઆરી ના સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છના વધુ ભાગો માં ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ થી 4 C થી 7 C સુધી વધુ હતું.
સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ: તારીખ 5 થી 12 ફેબ્રુઆરી 2024
7 ફેબ્રુઆરી સવાર સુધી પવનો મુખ્યત્વે પશ્ચિમી રહેવાની શક્યતા. આગાહી સમય માં બાકી ના સમય માટે ઉત્તરાદિ બાજુ થી પવનો ફૂંકાશે. (એટલે કે નોર્થ વેસ્ટ અને નોર્થઇસ્ટ વચ્ચે થી ). પવન ની સ્પીડ 10 થી 20 કિમિ/કલાક રહેશે. તારીખ 6 અને 7 ફેબ્રુઆરી ના પશ્ચિમી પવનો અને સવાર ના વધારે હ્યુમિડિટી ના હિસાબે આ બે દિવસ અમુક વિસ્તાર માં ઝાકર ની શક્યતા છે. આગાહી સમય માં છુટા છવાયા વાદળો થવાની શક્યતા તારીખ 7 થી 9 તેમજ એકાદ બીજા દિવસે.
આગાહી સમય માં ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ તરફ 3 C થી 4 C ક્રમશ ઘટશે જે નોર્મલ નજીક અથવા નોર્મલ થી ઉંચુ રહેશે. ગુજરાત રાજ્ય ના વધુ સેન્ટરો માં તાપમાન 12 C થી 16 C ની રેન્જ માં રહેવાની શક્યતા.
હાલ નોર્મલ મહત્તમ તાપમાન 29 C થી 31 C ગણાય. આગાહી સમય માં મહત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ તરફ જવા 3 C થી 4 C ક્રમશ ઘટશે જે નોર્મલ નજીક અથવા નોર્મલ થી ઉંચુ રહેવાની શક્યતા છે. આગાહી સમય માટે ગુજરાત રાજ્ય ના વધુ સેન્ટરો માં રેન્જ 28 C થી 32 C ગણાય.

આ વર્ષે આપણે ઠંડી નહીં બરાબર પડી છે. અને હિમાલય માં બરફ વર્ષા ય જાન્યુઆરી મહિનામાં બોવ નથી પડ્યો તો પણ આપણી અને હિમાલય ની વચ્ચે નો ભાગ ઉતર ભારત ના મેદાની વિસ્તારો માં જાન્યુઆરી નોર્મલ કરતાં ઠંડો રહ્યો. તો સાહેબ આ વિસ્તારો માં વધું ઠંડી બરફ પડ્યા વગર ક્યાંથી આવી ?
