Severe Cyclonic Storm ‘MAHA’ Over Eastcentral Arabian And Adjoining Westcentral Arabian Sea – Expected To Weaken Further Next 24 Hours As it Tracks Mainly Eastwards

તીવ્ર વાવાઝોડું ‘MAHA’ મધ્ય પૂર્વ અને લાગુ મધ્ય પશ્ચિમ અરબી સમુદ્ર પર છે – સિસ્ટમ 24 કલાક મુખ્યત્વે પૂર્વ તરફ ગતિ કરશે તેમજ નબળી થતી જશે.

Conditions at 02.30 pm IST on 6th November 2019

Severe Cyclonic Storm ‘MAHA’ over East Central & Adjoining West Central Arabian Sea has weakened considerably and was located in afternoon at Lat. 19.8N & Long. 67.3E  about 320 km. Southwest of Porbandar and about 400 km. West slight Southwest of Diu. Wind speed is 80-90 km/hour and gusts of 100 km/hour. The clouding associated with the System have become dense.

મધ્ય પૂર્વ અરબી સમુદ્ર માં ત્રીવ્ર વાવાઝોડું ‘મહા’ ઘણું નબળું પડ્યું છે. આજે બપોરે લોકેશન Lat. 19.8N & Long. 67.3E, જે પોરબંદર થી આશરે 320 કિમિ દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમે અને દીવ થી 400 કિમિ પશ્ચિમ આંશિક દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમે છે. પવન 80-90 કિમિ ના હતા અને ઝટકા ના પવન 100 કિમિ ના. સિસ્ટમ નબળી પડી હોવા છતાં વાદળો ઘટ્ટ થયા છે.

Update: Up to 8th November 2019 

‘MAHA’ is expected to weaken during next 24 hours as it tracks mainly Eastwards and is expected to skirt near the Saurashtra Coast about 30 to 50 km South of Diu.  Coastal Saurastra, South Gujarat & Central Gujarat expected to get Light/Medium Rainfall on a day or two  till 8th November 2019. Rest of Saurashtra and Gujarat expected to get Scattered showers. Possibility of some remnant clouding to linger over Arabian Sea till 10th. 

અપડેટ: 8 નવેમ્બર 2019 સુધી  

આ વાવાઝોડું આવતા 24 કલાક મુખ્યત્વે પૂર્વ બાજુ ગતિ કરશે તેમજ હજુ નબળું પડશે એટલે સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ના દરિયા કિનારા થી નજીક દીવ થી 30 થી 50 કિમિ ના અંતરે થી પાસ થઇ શકે. સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ના કાંઠા ના વિસ્તારોમાં તેમજ દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત અને મધ્ય ગુજરાત માં હળવો મધ્યમ વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે એક બે દિવસ. બાકી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, કચ્છ અને ગુજરાત માં છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા. તા.૮ બાદ પણ ૨ દિવસ આ સિસ્ટમ્સના અવશેષો (વાદળ) અરબી સમુદ્રમાં રહેશે.
