The Low Pressure area that developed yesterday over Southwest Bay Of Bengal has strengthened further to a Well Marked Low Pressure with 25 knots winds (45 kms/hour on 1 min. ave. bases ) with barometric pressure of 1004 mb. Location Lat. 6.8 N & Long. 82.4 E just near East Coast of Sri Lanka. The clouding associated with this System its center as well as to the South & Southwest of the System center. The associated Cyclonic Circulation extends up to 5.8 kms. above mean sea level.
