Unseasonal Showers/Rain Expected 8th-9th January 2024 Over Saurashtra Gujarat & Kutch – Temperature Expected To Vary During The Forecast Period
સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં તારીખ 8 – 9 જાન્યુઆરી દરમિયાન માવઠાની શક્યતા – આગાહી સમય દરમિયાન ઠંડી માં વધઘટ થયા રાખશે.
Current Weather Conditions on 4th January 2024
From IMD Mid-Day Bulletin:
The Low Pressure Area over Southeast Arabian Sea has become less marked. However, the associated cyclonic circulation now lies over Southeast Arabian Sea and adjoining Lakshadweep area and extends up to 3.1 km above mean sea level.
The southwest northeast oriented trough now runs from cyclonic circulation over South east Arabian Sea and adjoining Lakshadweep area to south Karnataka and extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.
The WD as a cyclonic circulation over Jammu and adjoining north Pakistan now lies over north Haryana neighborhood at 3.1 km above mean sea level.
The induced cyclonic circulation lies over southwest Uttar Pradesh & neighborhood and extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.
Trough extends from North Interior Karnataka to the cyclonic circulation over southwest Uttar Pradesh at 1.5 km above mean sea level.
A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect Northwest India from the night of 08th January 2024.
Gujarat Observations:
The Maximum Temperature is 5C below normal to 2 C above normal over various parts of Gujarat State.
Maximum Temperature on 3rd January 2024 was as under:
Ahmedabad 26.3 C which is 2 C below normal
Rajkot 30.2 C which is 2 C above normal
Deesa 27.0 C which is normal
Vadodara 24.8 C which is 5 C below normal
Bhuj 29.0 C which is 2 C above normal
The Minimum Temperature is 2 C below normal to 2 C above normal over different parts of Gujarat State.
Minimum Temperature on 4th January was as under:
Ahmedabad 14.3 C which is 2 C above normal
Rajkot 10.5 C which is 2 C below normal
Deesa 11.2 C which is 2 C above normal
Vadodara 14.4 C which is 2 C above normal
Bhuj 10.9 C which is 1 C above normal
Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 4th To 11th January 2024
Winds will be mainly from North and North East direction at 10-20 kms/hour and sometimes gusts of 5-10 kms/hour more. Due to passing of WD around 8th/9th January and trough is expected to extend over Northeast Arabian Sea and adjoining Gujarat State, there is a chance of scattered showers over some parts of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch on 8th/9th January 2024. The Minimum Temperatures are expected to vary on different days of the forecast period. It is expected to be below normal to near normal on 5th/6th January and subsequently Minimum Temperature will increase by 2 C to 4 C increase to above normal on most days of the rest of the forecast period in the range 13 C to 17 C. Currently the Normal Minimum Temperature is 11 C to 12 C for most parts of Gujarat and around 10 C to 11 C over North Gujarat areas near Rajasthan border.

આગાહી સમય માં પવન મુખ્યત્વે 10થી 20 કિમિ/કલાક ના ઉત્તર પૂર્વ અને ઉત્તર ના રહેશે. ક્યારેક 5 થી 10 કિમિ/કલાક વધુ પવન. તારીખ 8/9 ના પાકિસ્તાન અને લાગુ નોર્થવેસ્ટ ઇન્ડિયા પર WD પસાર થશે અને તેનો ટ્રફ નોર્થ ઇસ્ટ અરબી અને લાગુ ગુજરાત રાજ્ય પર લંબાશે. તેને હિસાબે તારીખ 08-09 જાન્યુઆરી ના સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં માવઠાની શક્યતા છે.
તારીખ 5-6 જાન્યુઆરી ના ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ નજીક રહેશે અને ત્યાર બાદ ના આગાહી સમય માં વધુ દિવસો નોર્મલ થી 2 C થી 4 C ઉપર રહેશે. હાલ નોર્મલ મહત્તમ તાપમાન 28 C ગણાય અને ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન મોટા વિસ્તાર માં 11 C થી 12 C ગણાય તેમજ નોર્થ ગુજરાત ના રાજસ્થાન બોર્ડર વિસ્તાર માટે 10 C થી 11 C ગણાય.
