Current Weather Conditions on 16th January 2016

The Maximum and Minimum Temperature has become near normal over most parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat.

Rajkot Maximum Temperature yesterday was 28.1 C while the Minimum Temperature was 12.4 C today.

Ahmedabad Maximum Temperature yesterday was 28.8 C while the Minimum Temperature was 13.5 C today.

Naliya Maximum Temperature yesterday was 27.4 C while the Minimum Temperature was 6.8 C today.

There is a Upper Air Cyclonic over Madhya Pradesh.

One western Disturbance is moving Eastwards from North India and another will reach Western Himalayas on 18th January.

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 16th January to 21st January 2016

Maximum Temperature will remain normal and is expected to decline marginally to below normal in latter parts of Forecast period. The Minimum Temperature is near normal and on one or two days could be above normal, however it is expected to again decline on 20th/21st January when it will go below normal in many places.

Rainfall:

Due to UAC over Madhya Pradesh and passing WD light rainfall will occur initially over Madhya Pradesh & then light to medium rainfall will spread to adjoining States of Chhatishgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha till W.B. Similarly light to medium Rainfall will occur over Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and parts of Maharashtra during 16th to 21st Janauary. The heavier amount will be around 19th January.
