The Western Disturbance over North India has affected most of the North Indian States with Rain and with Rain and Snow over the hilly regions of Jam mu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. This system will now be active only over Jammu & Kashmir till tomorrow.
Yesterday the Maximum Temperatures over Rajkot has been about a Degree above normal at 39.6 Degreec C. while the Maximum at Ahmedabad has been a Degree below normal at 39 Degrees C.
Forecast:
The Maximum Temperatures over Gujarat will trend upwards by tomorrow when Ahmedabad is expected to cross 41 Degrees C. The region between Ahmedabad and Godhra are expected to be some of the hot spots in Gujarat where the Maximum Temperature will cross 42 Degrees C. within the next few days. Maximum Temperature at Rajkot is expected to cross 40 Degrees C. by tomorrow and could cross 41 in the next few days.
