Low Pressure Over South East Arabian Sea – 200Kms. Off Kerala Coast

Current Conditions on 21th March 2008 at 12.30 pm.

The Cyclonic Circulation in the South East Arabian Sea has strengthened to a Low Pressure lying at 8.8N 74.3E about 200 Kms. West of Kerala Coast. There has been rains over Tamilnadu, Kerala, and Karnataka dusring the past few days.

Temperature over Saurshtra is on the rise.

Weather Forecast Rajkot, Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat:

21th March to 25th March : The Maximum Temperature will increase to around 37 to 39 Degrees C. till 23rd/24th March and then a decrease of two to three Degrees around 24th/25th March depending upon the outcome of the Low Pressure in the South East Arabian Sea.

Weather Forecast South India:

21th March to 25th March : There will be unusual heavy rain in South India. Tamilnadu, Kerala & Karnataka will receive rains during 21th to 23rd March. The heaviest rains are forecast for Coastal Karnataka and Coastal Kerala where the there will be 4 to 6 Inches of rain. The System is expected to move inwards from Karnataka towards Andhra Pradesh and along South Maharashtra where there will be rains during 23rd to 25th March. Rains are also forecast for Chhatisgarh and Orrisa during 24th and 25th March.
