Yesterday Southwest Monsoon advanced over entire south Andaman sea and Nicobar Islands, some parts of southeast Bay of Bengal, north Andaman sea and Andaman Islands.
The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) continue to passes through Lat.05.0°N/ Long.86.0°E, Lat.10°N/ Long.90.0°E, Long Islands and Lat.15.0°N/ Long.98.0°E. Conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of south Bay of Bengal, some parts of East Central Bay of Bengal and remaining parts of Andaman Islands and north Andaman sea during next 48 hours.
