Current Weather Conditions on 2nd August 2015 @ 8.00 am. IST<\/h3>\n

The Cyclonic Storm “KOMEN” has weakened two notches and is \u00a0Depression now over Jharkhand and adjoing West Bengal. It would move nearly Westwards and weaken into a Well Marked Low Pressure area gradually.<\/h3>\n

The Low Pressure area over Central Pakistan and adjoining Northwest Rajasthan and Punjab persists. Associated Cyclonic Circulation extends upto 3.6 kms. above sea level.<\/h3>\n

The Axis of the Monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Centre of the Low Pressure area over Central Pakistan and adjoining Northwest Rajasthan and Punjab, Ferozepur, Karnal, Lucknow, Center of the Depression over Jharkhand, and thence Southeastwards to North East Bay of Bengal. It extends upto 3.6 kms above sea level.<\/h3>\n

The Western Disturbance as a Cyclonic Circulation extending upto 3.1 kms above sea level over North Pakistan and adjoining Afghanistan persists with the trough aloft with its Axis at 5.8 kms above sea level roughly along Long.67\u00b0E to the North of Lat.28\u00b0N. System would move East-Northeastwards.<\/h3>\n

The Depression System from Jharkhand and adjoining West Bengal is not expected to track further West from Madhya Pradesh as can be seen from the Wunderground GFS Forecast model and COLA\/IGES Precipitation Maps Below.<\/h3>\n

The clouding will be to the West & Southwest of the System so around 5th\/6th August the clouding will be vicinity of Gujarat when the System is over Madhya Pradesh.<\/h3>\n
