The Low Pressure area over Jharkhand & adjoining West Bengal and Bihar has rapidly concentrated into a Depression and lies over Jharkhand and adjoining North Chhattisgarh & Odisha at 0830 hours IST of today i.e.10 July 2015, centered near Latitude 23.1\u00b0N and Longitude 85.1\u00b0E, about 30 km Southwest of Ranchi. System would move West Northwestwards and weaken gradually after 24 hours.<\/h3>\n

The Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level passes through Ganganagar, Narnaul, Gwalior, Sidhi, Centre of Depression over Jharkhand and adjoining north Chhattisgarh & Odisha, Digha and thence Southeastward to Northeast Bay of Bengal and extends upto 3.1 km above mean sea level.<\/h3>\n

The Western Disturbance as an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over North Pakistan & neighborhood now lies over North Pakistan & adjoining Jammu & Kashmir and extends up to mid tropospheric levels.<\/h3>\n

The Upper Air Cyclonic circulation over southern parts of Uttar Pradesh & adjoining north Madhya Pradesh now lies over southwest Uttar Pradesh & neighbourhood and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level.<\/h3>\n

An off-shore trough runs from Karnataka coast to Kerala coast.<\/h3>\n

Due to cumulative effects of the Depression System over Jharkhand and adjoining Chhatishgarh and the Western Disturbance, very good rainfall will occur over West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, U.P., New Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chhatishgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Odisha & East Rajasthan during the forecast period.<\/h3>\n

Saurashtra & Kutch:<\/h3>\n

Scattered showers during 10th to 15th July on most days with light rain over few places.<\/h3>\n

South, Central & North Gujarat:<\/h3>\n

Monsoon trough would activate during the forecast period but will be weak over South Gujarat, so light rain on a few days of the forecast period with scattered showers for rest of the days.<\/h3>\n

Central Gujarat will receive light rain on one or two days of the forecast period due to clouding of the System over Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Gujarat border areas. Scattered showers for the rest of the period.<\/h3>\n
