The Deep Depression That tracked through Saurashtra and North Gujarat has now weakened to a Low Pressure and is located over Northern parts of Central Uttar Pradesh.<\/h3>\n

The off-shore trough at mean sea level from Gujarat coast to North Kerala coast persists.<\/h3>\n

There was another Low Pressure over Bangladesh and a UAC over coastal Bangladesh and adjoining areas. The UAC has merged with the Low Pressure and is now located over Southeast Bangladesh and adjoining areas with the associated Cyclonic Circulation up to 4.5 kms.<\/h3>\n

Since the monsoon has set in over the entire country, now we will have an axis of Monsoon trough that normally runs Southeast from Western Rajasthan to North & adjoining Central Bay of Bengal.<\/h3>\n

However, today the Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level passes through Ludhiana, Ambala, Center of U.P. Low Pressure, Bhagalpur, Center of Southeast Bangladesh Low Pressure and thence Eastwards to Mizoram. It extends up to 0.9 km. above mean sea level. It means the Axis of Monsoon trough is is along the foot hills of Himalaya.<\/h3>\n

The Monsoon is expected to be dormant over Western & Central parts of India since the Axis of Monsoon is along the Himalayan foot hills for next two days. West coast of India will continue getting rainfall due to the Monsoon trough. Heavy rainfall expected for West Bengal next few days.<\/h3>\n
