URGENT ATTENTION: "SIDR" is expected to cause extensive destructions in its path and urgent attention is required from India and Bangla Desh Government to try to avert human losses by wide Media coverage.<\/p>\n
Very Severe Cyclonic Storm SIDR in the Bay of Bengal located about 215 Kms South South East of Kolkatta at 21.1 N & 89.6 E. with slight weakening from the maximum attained 250 Kms\/hour one minute ave. wind speed and 300 kms\/hour gusts and 922 mb pressure. The Cyclone is moving ahead at faster pace in a Northwards direction with slight Eastwards movement.<\/p>\n
Distance to Landfall: 125 Kms.
