Yesterday there was an east-west shear zone along latitude 12.0\u00b0N with embedded Cyclonic Circulation over the East Central Arabian Sea & neighborhood extending up to Mid-tropospheric level. Under its influence, a Low Pressure area has developed this morning over location 13.1\u00b0N & 69.2\u00b0E.\u00a0\u00a0 This System had already started being monitored by NRL as\u00a095A.INVEST from 1330z on 7th June 2014 start location 12.1\u00b0N & 69.3\u00b0E.<\/p>\n

Current location 12.7\u00b0N & 68.3\u00b0E with 20 knots winds<\/p>\n

Forecast:<\/h3>\n

The Low Pressure System is expected to track initially mainly Northerly direction.<\/h3>\n

Possibility of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch could get light scattered shower\/rain due to nearby clouding associated with the Low Pressure from 10th to 13th June. Updates will be given as and when warranted.<\/h3>\n
