Current Weather Conditions on 8th May 2014 @ 10.00 am.<\/h3>\n

The Well Marked Low Pressure with 25 knots winds and 1004 Mb. Central Pressure tracked over over to Tamilnadu on 7th May after 0000z and weakened to a Low Pressure with 15 knots winds; tracked North Northwestwards and reemerged over Sea ( Arabian Sea)\u00a0 and is now located at 11.7\u00b0N 74.8\u00b0E\u00a0 with increased winds speed up to 20 knots and 1007 Mb. Pressure. This System is yet being monitored by NRL. The track for this System has been plotted on Wunderground Map showing the location at various times.<\/p>\n

Heavy to very heavy rainfall has been reported over Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka and vicinity.<\/p>\n

Forecast:<\/h3>\n

The Low Pressure System is expected to track mainly Northerly direction along the Karnataka Coast and re-curve back towards Karnataka by tomorrow. Rainfall is forecast for the Southern peninsula next two days with heavier rain over Kerala And Karnataka.<\/p>\n
