The Weather over Saurashtra is cloudy but no rainfall has occured during the last week.<\/p>\n
The axis of monsoon trough passes through Ferozepur, Patiala, Bareilly, Lucknow, Patana, Asansol, Sagar Island and thence Southeastwards to Eastcentral Bay of Bengal.<\/p>\n
There is an upper air cyclonic circulation over northwest Bay of Bengal West Bengal.<\/p>\n
The axis of monsoon is expected to shift southwards by 12th August.<\/p>\n
Rain Forecast period: 10th August to 16th August:<\/p>\n
Saurashtra, North Gujarat and Central Gujarat will get 2 Cms. to 4 Cms. of rain during the forecast period with 12th, 13th and 15th being the likely days for rainfall in Saurashtra. South Gujarat will get 5 Cms. to 8 Cms. of rainfall during the forecast period.<\/p>\n
Rest of India:<\/p>\n
Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, South Konkan, Vidarbh, Orissa, Chhatishgarh, M.P., W.B., Jharkhand, U.P. Bihar and North eastern States are expected to get 8 Cms to 15 Cms. of rain with isolated areas getting above 15 Cms.<\/p>\n
Rainfall over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttranchal, H.P. will be medium and scattered but some isolated places could get 10 Cms. of rainfall.<\/p>\n
