It is now seen between <strong data-start=\"626\" data-end=\"668\">3.1 km and 5.8 km above mean sea level<\/strong>, tilting southward with height.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"702\" data-end=\"921\">\n<p data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"921\">An <strong data-start=\"707\" data-end=\"727\">east-west trough<\/strong> is now located roughly along <strong data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"774\">Latitude 10\u00b0N<\/strong>, extending from the <strong data-start=\"795\" data-end=\"868\">southeast Arabian Sea to the central parts of the south Bay of Bengal<\/strong>, between <strong data-start=\"878\" data-end=\"920\">4.5 km and 7.6 km above mean sea level<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"923\" data-end=\"1061\">\n<p data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"1061\">The <strong data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"1016\">upper air cyclonic circulation over the northeast Arabian Sea and its neighborhood<\/strong> at <strong data-start=\"1020\" data-end=\"1051\">5.8 km above mean sea level<\/strong> persists.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1202\">\n<p data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1202\">The <strong data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1152\">upper air cyclonic circulation over north Gujarat and adjoining south Rajasthan<\/strong> at <strong data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"1187\">3.1 km above mean sea level<\/strong> also persists.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1428\">\n<p data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1428\">A <strong data-start=\"1208\" data-end=\"1231\">Western Disturbance<\/strong>, seen as a trough in the <strong data-start=\"1257\" data-end=\"1297\">middle and upper tropospheric levels<\/strong>, lies with its axis at <strong data-start=\"1321\" data-end=\"1352\">5.8 km above mean sea level<\/strong> roughly along <strong data-start=\"1367\" data-end=\"1385\">Longitude 74\u00b0E<\/strong>, north of <strong data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1413\">Latitude 32\u00b0N<\/strong>, and persists.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1863\" data-end=\"1866\" \/>\n<p data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"1987\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Rainfall Forecast for Saurashtra, Kutch &amp; Gujarat<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h4><strong>Forecast Period: 4th\u201310th August 2025<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Although there are two UAC near Gujarat State, they lack good humidity at those levels. Humidity is present at 1.5 km level over Gujarat State. Scattered showers and light to moderate rainfall (5 to 20 mm) are likely on many days. On two of the days, different very isolated pockets could receive up to 35 mm rainfall. Overall, the rainfall is expected to remain below normal during the forecast period in Saurashtra &amp; Kutch. Gujarat Region expected to get more coverage compared to Saurashtra &amp; Kutch.
