\nThe Maximum Temperature over most parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat were around 1 to 2 Degrees above normal yesterday. Rajkot recorded 40.7 C. against normal of 40.0 C. and Ahmedabad recorded 42.4 C. against normal of 41.0 C. Chandrapur in Vidarbha, Maharashtra recorded 47.6 C. which was about 5 C. above normal.

\nThe summer heating has started over many parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat. The normal Maximum Temperature has risen. The Maximum temperature is expected to be normal to up to 2 Degree above normal during the forecast period. The Maximum Temperature will be higher in North Gujarat compared to Saurashtra. Winds will be mainly form West and Northwest direction during the forecast period for most parts of Saurashtra.
