The Depression over Northeast Madhya Pradesh moved slowly nearly north-northwestwards with a speed of 15 kmph during past 6 hours and lay centred at 1730 hours IST of today, the 11th September near latitude 25.0\u00b0N and longitude 79.6\u00b0E over northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining south Uttar Pradesh, about 30 km west of Khajuraho (Madhya Pradesh), 110 km southsouthwest of Hamirpur (Uttar Pradesh), 110 km east-southeast of Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh) and 190 km southeast of Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh). It is likely to move slowly north-northwestwards during next 24 hrs. The system is under\u00a0 continuous surveillance of Doppler Weather Radar at Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).
The Monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Bikaner, Sikar, the centre of depression over northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining south Uttar Pradesh, Daltonganj, Bankura, Canning and thence southeastwards to northeast Bay of Bengal and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level.<\/p>\r\n
The Western Disturbance as a trough in middle tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 72\u00b0E to the north of Lat. 28\u00b0N persists.
The off-shore trough at mean sea level along south Gujarat to North Kerala coast persists.<\/p>\r\n
The cyclonic circulation over south Gujarat between 3.1 & 5.8 km above mean sea level persists.
The cyclonic circulation over central Assam extending upto 0.9 km above mean sea level persists.
The cyclonic circulation over central parts of Myanmar extending upto mid tropospheric levels persists. It is likely to move west-northwest and lies over coastal Bangladesh and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal during next 2 days.
