Brief Note about the System:
The Depression over southeast Bay of Bengal moved west-northwestwards with a speed of 22 kmph during past 06 hours and lay centred at 2330 hours IST of yesterday, the 06 th December, 2022 over southeast Bay of Bengal, near latitude 8.4\u00b0N and longitude 87.0\u00b0E, about 640 km east of Trincomalee (Sri Lanka), about 780 km east-southeast of Jaffna (Sri Lanka),\u00a0 about 840 km eastsoutheast of Karaikal and about 900 km southeast of Chennai.

It is very likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify further gradually into a Cyclonic Storm around 07th December evening and reach Southwest Bay of Bengal off north Tamil Nadu-Puducherry & adjoining south Andhra Pradesh coasts by 08th December morning. It will continue to move west-northwestwards towards north Tamil Nadu-Puducherry & adjoining south Andhra Pradesh coasts during subsequent 48 hours.<\/p>\r\n

The Normal Minimum Temperature is about 14 C to 16 C.
This morning the Minimum Temperature at various locations was as under:

Ahmedabad 17.5 C about 2 C above normal
Bhuj 13.2 C
Vadodara 17.6 C about 2 C above normal
Rajkot 14.2 C about 1 C below normal
Amreli 14.8 C also about 1 C above normal
