Monsoon off-shore trough will be active from South Gujarat to Maharasthra\/Karnataka\/Kerala on different days of the forecast period.<\/p>\r\n

The cyclonic circulation over northwest & adjoining West Central Bay of Bengal off south Odisha\/North Andhra Pradesh Coasts extending up to 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height persists.

Another UAC\/Low will form near Odisha coast which will track West Northwestwards towards Gujarat State.

Western end of Axis of Monsoon is South of Normal position and is expected to be Normal or South of normal on many days of Forecast period at 1.5 km level.

An East West Shear zone is expected around 20N at 3.1 km. level during the forecast period. Some days there would be a broad circulation from Andhra\/Odisha to Gujarat State at 3.1 km. level.

600hPa & 500 hPa Circulations also will be beneficial to Gujarat State on some days of the Forecast period.

Above various factors will be conducive for rainfall rounds over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch to continue till 15th July 2022.<\/p>\r\n

There is a 3% excess rain till 7th July 2022 for Saurashtra & Kutch Region and if Kutch is considered separately, Kutch excess of 16% from normal, while Gujarat Region has a shortfall of 20% rainfall than normal till 7th July 2022.
