The Western Disturbance as a trough in westerlies in lower & middle tropospheric levels with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level roughly along Long.50\u00b0E to the north of Lat.30\u00b0N persists. Under its influence, an induced cyclonic circulation very likely to form over West Rajasthan & neighborhood on 05th January, 2022.<\/p>\n
An intense Western Disturbance is very likely to affect Northwest India from the night of 06th January, 2022 onwards. Under its influence, an induced cyclonic circulation very likely to form over southwest Rajasthan & neighborhood on 07th January, 2022.<\/p>\n
Gujarat Observations:<\/strong><\/p>\n The Minimum & Maximum Temperature have increased after three days of normal cold spell. The Maximum Temperature is above normal by 1C to 3C while the Minimum Temperature is above normal by around 5C over many parts of Gujarat State.<\/p>\n Minimum Temperature on 3rd January 2022 was as under:<\/strong><\/p>\n Deesa 15.0 C which is 5 C above normal<\/p>\n Gandhinagar 16.4 C which is 4 C above normal<\/p>\n Ahmedabad 17.1 C which is 5 C above normal<\/p>\n Rajkot\u00a0 17.3 C which is 5 C above normal<\/p>\n Amreli 17.6 C which is 6 C above normal<\/p>\n Vadodara 15.2 which is 4 C above normal<\/p>\n Bhuj 14.4 C which is 5 C above normal<\/p>\n Maximum Temperature on 2nd January 2022 was as under:<\/strong><\/p>\n Ahmedabad 28.4 C which is 1 C above normal<\/p>\n Rajkot\u00a0 29.9 C which is 2 C above normal<\/p>\n Amreli 30.6 C which is 2 C above normal<\/p>\n Bhuj 29.6 C which is 3 C above normal<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mostly variable winds during the forecast period due to off and on consecutive Western Disturbances during the forecast period. The winds speeds will also be variable depending upon the WD phases.<\/p>\n Partly cloudy to cloudy weather expected during 5th to 8th January. Due to the passing of consecutive Western Disturbances over North India and at times Deeping to lower Latitudes till Gujarat State, there is a possibility of scattered unseasonal showers\/rain over parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat\u00a0 during 5th to 8th January 2022.<\/p>\n The Maximum Temperature expected to be above normal or near near normal till 5th January and expected to drop during passing of Western Disturbance.
