Brief Update:
The Low Pressure over Southeast Arabian Sea had concentrated to a Depression over Lakshadweep area of Southeast Arabian Sea this morning. It strengthened further to a Deep Depression in the afternoon. The winds blowing 50-60 kms\/hour and gusting up to 70 kms\/hour. The System expected to track mainly Northerly direction towards Saurashtra Coast till 17th Morning. System track 17th onwards will be updated as and when more clarity is available.
There will be moisture incursion from Arabian Sea, Upper Air Instability and also peripheral Clouding associated with the current System will come over Gujarat and so Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch will get thunder activity from 15th\/16th May and increase thereafter. Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat Rainfall quantum and wind expected to increase after 17th morning.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\u00a0<\/h4>\r\n
