Brief Update:
The Low Pressure over Southeast Arabian Sea has concentrated to a Depression over East Central & Adjoining Southeast Arabian Sea this morning. It is expected to strengthen further to a Cyclonic Storm as it tracks mainly Northwards. The winds blowing 45-55 kms\/hour and gusting up to 65 kms\/hour. Subsequently move towards Maharashtra Coast on 3rd June 2020.\u00a0

As per IMD the Southwest Monsoon has Set in over Kerala today the 1st June. IMD has given their 2nd Long Range Forecast of Southwest Monsoon.\u00a0

There is moisture incursion from Arabian Sea, Upper Air Instability and also peripheral Clouding associated with the current System will come over Gujarat and so Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch will get Pre-Monsoon activity on most days during the week. Rainfall quantum to be higher in South Gujarat due to the effects of the System.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
