Weather Conditions on 18th January 2020<\/h4>\n

Observations:<\/p>\n

The Minimum and Maximum Temperature have decreased further from 17th January and some pockets of Saurashtra & Kutch are under the grip of Cold Wave. Day time Temperatures have also decreased and are 4 to 5 C below normal last two to three days over many parts of Gujarat.<\/p>\n

Minimum Temperature on 18th January 2020 was as under:<\/p>\n

Rajkot\/Keshod 7.4 C<\/p>\n

Porbandar 7.6 C<\/p>\n

Amreli 8.4 C<\/p>\n

Bhuj 8.8 C<\/p>\n

Deesa 9.0 C<\/p>\n

Kandla(A) 9.1 C<\/p>\n

Gandhinagar 9.2 C<\/p>\n

Surendranagar 9.8 C<\/p>\n

Mahuva 9.9 C<\/p>\n

The Maximum Temperature at major places like Ahmedabad, Rajkot & Bhuj were nearly around 24 C which is 4 C lower than normal.<\/p>\n

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 19th January to 26th January 2020<\/h4>\n

The winds will be from Northeast and North at 10 to 22 km\/hour from 19th to 24th. The winds speeds will be in upper range on 22nd\/23rd. Winds will be from Northwest on 25th\/26th and hence morning humidity will be high on 26th with chances of fog. Partly cloudy weather on some days from 22nd till 26th.<\/p>\n

The Temperature expected to increase marginally from tomorrow and Maximum Temperature would increase by 4-5 C and move towards normal on Monday 20th and is expected to remain around normal for the rest of the forecast period. Cold Wave conditions will abate as the Minimum Temperature increases by 1 to 3 C and go above 10 C. However, the Minimum is expected to remain below normal till 25th January over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat.<\/p>\n
