A Low Pressure area developed on 25th August over the Coastal areas of West Bengal & North Odisha and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal. This Low Pressure became a Well Marked Low Pressure on 26th August. Today it lies nearly in the same area over West Bengal & North Odisha Coast. The Associated Cyclonic Circulation extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting Southwestwards with height.<\/p>\n

The Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Amritsar, Fatehabad, Meerut, Dalotganj, Jamshedpur, Center of the Low Pressure area & thence towards East Central Bay of Bengal.<\/p>\n

There is a UAC over Southwest Uttar Pradesh & neighborhood and extends up to 3.1 Km above mean sea level.
\nThe Cyclonic Circulation over Saurashtra\/Gujarat at 3.1 Km above mean sea level.<\/p>\n

Update tomorrow due to\u00a0uncertainty of Rainfall amounts for Saurashtra & Kutch. Main Rain Date 29\/30th August.<\/h4>\n

A Low Pressure area is expected to form over North Bay of Bengal around 26th August 2018. Possibility of benefit of rain over Gujarat around 27th\/28th August 2018. Effect of the Low\/UAC for Saurashtra & Kutch will be updated on on\/around 26th August 2018.<\/p>\n

Currently possibility of scattered showers\/light rain for Gujarat, Saurashtra & Kutch. Gujarat showers quantum\/coverage will be higher than Saurashtra\/Kutch.<\/p>\n
