Weather Conditions on 13th August 2018<\/h4>\n

Current Meteorological features based on IMD Bulletin :<\/p>\n

Under the influence of the Cyclonic Circulation over North coastal Odisha & neighborhood, a Low Pressure area has formed over Northwest Bay of Bengal off West Bengal Coast. Associated Cyclonic circulation extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting Southwestwards with height. It is likely to become more marked during next 24 hours.<\/p>\n

The axis of monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Amritsar, Patiala, Delhi, Hamirpur, Churk, Daltonganj, Jamshedpur, center of Low Pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal off West Bengal Coast and thence Southeastwards to Eastcentral Bay of Bengal.<\/p>\n

A cyclonic circulation at 3.1 km above mean sea level lies over central parts of Rajasthan & neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Brief Forecast:<\/h4>\n

The Bay of Bengal System is expected to track towards Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh during the next few days and due to this the Low or UAC of the System, a good round of rainfall is expected over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat during 16th to19th August 2018. The details of area wise quantum will be given in update on 15th August 2018.<\/p>\n
