Yesterday the Maximum Temperature lower than earlier as expected for 13th\/14th May for most places of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch. The Hot center areas also decreased. The Maximum Temperatures were:<\/p>\n Kandala (A) 43.1 C, Amreli 42.4 C ( 1 C above normal), Surendranagar 42.0 C, Rajkot 41.9 C ( 1 C above normal), &Idar 41.6 C ( 1 C above normal) .<\/p>\n Windy conditions prevailed over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch on some days.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Maximum Temperature over Hot centers of whole Gujarat will be as under:<\/p>\n 15th\/16th May 41 to 44 C range with few centers crossing 44.0 C Wind mainly Westerly directions (NW\/W\/) during the forecast period. Windy conditions expected over Kutch, North Gujarat and Western Saurashtra till 19th May. Morning humidity is high and is expected to reduce on 19th to 21st May.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Arabian Sea System:<\/p>\n There is\u00a0 a Low Pressure over Southwest Arabian Sea located at Latitude 9.6 N and Longitude 54.6 E with wind speed of 20 knots and 1007 mb. pressure. The System is being monitored by JTWC as 91A.INVEST. The System is expected to track West Northwest during the next two days while while strengthening further.
