Weather Conditions on 8th September 2017<\/h4>\n

The Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Jammu, Patiyala, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Muzaffarpur, Purnea and thence towards East Assam through Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.<\/p>\n

There is a North South trough from Madhya Maharashtra to South Tamilnadu accross Karnataka and extends up to 0.75 km above mean sea level with an embedded UAC over Madhya Maharshtra & neighborhood at 1.5 km above mean sea level.<\/p>\n

The East West\u00a0shear\u00a0zone\u00a0now\u00a0runs\u00a0roughly\u00a0along\u00a0latitude\u00a08.0\u00b0N\u00a0between\u00a03.1\u00a0&\u00a05.8\u00a0km\u00a0above\u00a0mean\u00a0sea\u00a0level<\/p>\n

There is an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Southern Bay\u00a0of\u00a0Bengal\u00a0&\u00a0neighborhood between 0.75 km to 5.8 km above mean sea level.<\/p>\n

11th to 17th September 2017<\/h4>\n

Under the influence of various weather parameters expected to play out during the forecast period:
\n60% areas of Saurashtra & Gujarat expected get on different days scattered showers\/light or medium rain with isolated heavy rain during the forecast period cumulative quantum 4 cm. to 8 cm. (40 mm. to 80 mm). Isolated centers could get more than 80 mm rainfall.<\/p>\n

Most parts of Kutch & rest of Saurashtra & Gujarat expected get on different days scattered showers\/light rain with isolated medium rain during the forecast period cumulative quantum between 2 cm. to 4 cm. (20 mm to 40 mm).<\/p>\n

Note: There is a very big difference of quantum of rain between various forecast models.<\/p>\n
