The Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level passess through Ganganagar, Agra, Dalotganj, Puri and thence towards East Central Bay of Bengal and extends up to 0.75 km above mean sea level.<\/p>\n

\nThere was an Upper Air Cyclonic over Odisha & neiborhood yesterday. Today this Upper Air Cyclonic is located broadly over Odisha, Chhatisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & neighboring Coastal Bay of Bengal and extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting Southwestwards with height.<\/p>\n

The UAC is expected to remain broadly in the same areas of Odisha, Chhatishgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Bay of Bengal & neighborhood. This System will reach Gujarat, Saurashtra & Kutch areas as a Low Pressure or stronger around 28th\/29th August. Winds speeds will be high on some days of forecast period, since the System is expected to be strong.<\/p>\n

Forecast Rainfall Quantum From 28th August to 1st September 2017<\/h4>\n

Saurashtra, Gujarat & \u00a0Kutch expected get on different days light-medium-heavy & some area very heavy rain during the forecast period cumulative quantum 5 to 10 cm (50 to 100 mm).<\/p>\n

Isolated centers of Saurashtra to exceed 100 mm. along with 50% area of South Gujarat during the forecast period.<\/p>\n

Rainfall is expected to enter from Eastern & Southern sides of Gujarat on 27th and main rainfall period would be 28th to 30th August and then certain areas till 1st September.<\/p>\n
