Current Conditions on 21st August 2017<\/h4>\n

The Well Marked Low Pressure area over Vidarbha & neighborhood has weakened to a Low Pressure area now and is located over Southwest Madhya Pradesh & neighborhood. Associated Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting Southwestwards with height.<\/p>\n

The Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Barmer, along vicinity of North Gujarat\/Rajasthan border, Center of Low Pressure area over Southwest Madhya Pradesh & neighborhood, Akola, Kalingapatanam and thence towards Central Bay of Bengal and extends up to 0.75 km above mean sea level.<\/p>\n

There is an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Arakan coast & neighborhood seen between 1.5 km & 3.1 km above mean sea level. This UAC will organize to a System along Northwest & West Central Bay of Bengal by 24th August.<\/p>\n

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch<\/h4>\n

Forecast Rainfall Quantum From 20th to 27th August 2017<\/h4>\n

50% of Saurashtra, Gujarat & whole Kutch expected get on different days scattered showers\/light-medium-heavy rain during the forecast period cumulative quantum 3 to 5 cm. (30 to 50 mm.).<\/p>\n

50% of Saurashtra, Gujarat expected get on different days light-medium-heavy and some very heavy rain during the forecast period cumulative quantum between 5 cm. to 10 cm. (50 mm to 100 mm). Isolated centers to exceed 100 mm. during the forecast period. South Gujarat expected to get higher quantum.<\/p>\n
