Hoever, today the Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level today passes through Ferozpur, Karnal, Shajahanpur, Gorakhpur, Gaya, Bankura, Daimond Harbor and thence towards Northeast Bay of Bengal.<\/p>\n<p>The Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over South Bangladesh &amp; adjoining areas now lies over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of West Bengal. The UAC extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting Southwestwards with height.
