The Maximum Temperature has increased and is 2 to 4 C above normal over most centers of\u00a0Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch. The hot center Maximum Temperature were between 42 C to 44.6 C yesterday.<\/h3>\n

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: \u00a014th May to 19th May 2016<\/h3>\n

Maximum Temperature will remain high and is expected to be between 42 C to 45 C during 14th to 16th and between 43 C to 46 C during 17th to 19th May 2016. Heat wave conditions over parts of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch is expected during the forecast period.<\/h3>\n

India:\u00a014th May 2016 to 19th May 2016<\/h3>\n

The Hot Weather areas of India has started increasing from yesterday and is expected to increase further to many States of India. Heat wave conditions are expected over many States during the forecast period with hottest period during 17th to 19th May 2016.<\/h3>\n

Under the influence of\u00a0\u00a0an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Southwest Bay of Bengal off Srilanka coast & adjoining equatorial Indian ocean, a Low Pressure area has developed with UAC extending upto 4.5 km above mean sea level. Location of Low Pressure is Lat. 6.0N & 84.1 E about 250 Kms. East Of Sri Lanka Coast; with 1006 mb. pressure and 20 knots winds (35 kms\/hour on 1 min. ave. basis). It is likely to become well marked Low Pressure soon.<\/h3>\n

Rain: Under the influence of the Low Pressure over Southwest Bay of Bengal, Sri Lanka will received heavy to extreme heavy rainfall during next few days.<\/h3>\n

Southern Peninsular States of Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh will get 5 Cms. to 15 Cms. mainly during 16th-19th May.<\/h3>\n
