A Depression has formed over eastcentral Arabian Sea and lay centred at 0530 hrs IST of today the 5th November 2015 over eastcentral Arabian Sea near latitude 14.10 N and longitude 66.00 E, about 920 km southwest of Mumbai and 1310 km east-southeast of Salalah (Oman). it would move west-northwestwards and intensify into a deep depression during next 24 hrs. As the system is expected to move away from the Indian coast, no adverse weather is expected along and off west coast of India.<\/h3>\n

AVAILABLE DATA DOES NOT JUSTIFY\r\nISSUANCE OF NUMBERED TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNINGS AT THIS TIME.\r\nWINDS IN THE AREA ARE ESTIMATED TO BE 25 TO 30 KNOTS. METSAT\r\nIMAGERY AT 042221Z INDICATES THAT A CIRCULATION CENTER IS LOCATED\r\nNEAR 14.0N 65.9E. THE SYSTEM IS MOVING WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT 04\r\nKNOTS.\r\n2. REMARKS: THE AREA OF CONVECTION PREVIOUSLY LOCATED NEAR 13.8N \r\n67.0E (INVEST AREA 95A), IS NOW LOCATED NEAR 14.0N 65.9E, \r\nAPPROXIMATELY 651 NM SOUTHEAST OF MUSCAT, OMAN. ANIMATED ENHANCED \r\nINFRARED SATELLITE IMAGERY DEPICTS DEEP FLARING CONVECTION ALONG THE \r\nNORTHERN PERIPHERY OF THE CONSOLIDATING LOW LEVEL CIRCULATION CENTER \r\n(LLCC). A 042326Z SSMIS 91GHZ PARTIAL MICROWAVE IMAGE SHOWS WELL \r\nDEFINED SHALLOW SPIRAL BANDING WRAPPING INTO THE LLCC WITH \r\nCONVECTIVE BANDING ALONG THE NORTHERN QUADRANT. A 041639Z ASCAT PASS \r\nSHOWED A BETTER DEFINED LLCC WITH 20 TO 25 KNOT WINDS ALONG THE \r\nNORTHERN PERIPHERY AND 15 TO 20 KNOTS ALONG THE SOUTHERN PERIPHERY. \r\nTHE VERTICAL WIND SHEAR AND UPPER LEVEL OUTFLOW ARE FAVORABLE FOR \r\nFURTHER DEVELOPMENT; HOWEVER, THE AFOREMENTIONED MICROWAVE IMAGE \r\nSHOWS SIGNIFICANT DRY AIR SURROUNDING THE WESTERN SEMI-CIRCLE. \r\nGLOBAL MODELS SHOW LITTLE TO NO DEVELOPMENT OF THIS DISTURBANCE AS \r\nIT TRACKS WESTWARD. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED SURFACE WINDS ARE ESTIMATED AT \r\n25 TO 30 KNOTS. MINIMUM SEA LEVEL PRESSURE IS ESTIMATED TO BE NEAR \r\n1004 MB.
