\nSub: Deep Depression over Eastcentral Arabian Sea<\/h3>\n

The Depression over Eastcentral Arabian Sea moved West-Northwestwards with a speed of 07 km per hour during past 6 hours, intensified into a Deep Depression and lay centered at 1130 hours IST of today, the 10th October, 2015 over Eastcentral Arabian Sea near latitude 15.1 0 N and longitude 69.2 0 E., about 490 km West-Southwest of Goa and 570 km South-Southwest of Mumbai. It would move Northwestwards and may intensify further into a marginal Cyclonic Storm during next 24 hrs. Thereafter, it would move Westnorthwestwards and weaken gradually from 12th October, 2015.<\/h3>\n

The System is expected to track Northwest and then West Northwest as can be seen from the JTWC track and hence the chances of it reaching Saurashtra or Gujarat are less. Hence, only scattered shower expected on few days during the forecast period due to proximity of the peripheral clouds associated with the System.<\/h3>\n
