Southwest Monsoon Sets In Over The Entire Country Today 16th June 2013

Current Weather Conditions On 16th June 2013 @ 2.00 pm.

The Low Pressure area now lies over Northwest Madhya Pradesh and vicinity with associated Upper air Cyclonic Circulation.

The trough at mean sea level now runs from west Rajasthan to Arakan coast across the Center of Low Pressure area, South Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, North Odisha and North Bay of Bengal.

The off-shore trough at mean sea level now extends from Coastal Saurashtra & South Gujarat vicinity to Kerala.

Southwest Monsoon has covered the entire Country today.

Forecast: 16th June to 20th June

Due to the cumulative effects of Monsoon trough near Coastal Saurashtra/South Gujarat Coast vicinity and also the effects of UAC in the Arabian Sea South of Coastal Saurashtra, there will be moderate to heavy rainfall over Saurashtra and most parts of Gujarat and Kutch during the forecast period. The Arabian UAC will track towards South Gujarat on 17th and will be embedded in the trough running from South Gujarat to Kerala.
