Last Night Conditions:

The axis of monsoon trough continues to run close to the foothills of Himalayas.

There is an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Southeast  Arabian sea & neighborhood extending upto 2.1 km above mean sea level. This UAC will fizzle out in 24 hours.

The North-South trough in lower levels from East Bihar to North Bay of Bengal extending upto 2.1 km above mean sea level persists. Under its influence, An Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation is likely to develop over North Bay of Bengal by 23rd August.

The   Western   Disturbance   as   an   Upper   Air   Cyclonic  Circulation   over  Jammu   & Kashmir  & neighborhood  extending upto Mid-Tropospheric levels persists.

There are two Systems (Cyclones) in the West Pacific, Typhoon GONI & Typhoon ATSANI. GONI attained a maximum speed of 115 knots on 18th August while ASANI attained maximum speed of 140 knots on 19th August. Currently GONI has 105 knots wind speed while ATSANI has 115 knots. ( 1 knot=1.85 kms.). Both these Typhoons are tracking Westwards then will track Northwest and then North and finally expected to recurve Northeastwards.

Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat

Wait for good rain will continue during the forecast period since no meaningful rainfall is forecast for Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat from 21st to 26th August. Only scattered showers or drizzle over parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat on some days. Wind speed will be around 30 to 40 kms/hour from 21st to 23rd August in afternoon and evening time over Kutch and adjoining areas of Saurashtra.

દક્ષીણ પૂર્વ અરબી સમુદ્ર માં UAC છે તે 24 કલાક માં ખતમ થઇ જશે.

2.1 કિમી સુધી નું ઊત્તર દક્ષીણ ટ્રફ બિહાર થી ઊત્તર બંગાળની ખાડી સુધી લંબાય છે. તેની અસર રૂપે આવતા એક બે દિવસ માં ઊત્તર બંગાળની ખાડી માં એક UAC છવાશે.

વેસ્ટર્ન ડીસ્ટર્બન્સ હાલ જમ્મુ કાશ્મીર ઉપર છે.

પશ્ચિમ પ્રશાંત મહાસાગર માં બે વાવાઝોડા છે જેને તે વિસ્તાર માં ટાયફૂન કહે છે. એક છે ટાયફૂન GONI અને બીજો છે ટાયફૂન ATSANI. GONI ની પવન ની ઝડપ વધી ને 115 knot થઇ હતી અને ATSANI ની પવન ની ઝડપ 140 knot થઇ હતી. બંને સીસ્ટમ પશ્ચિમ પછી ઊત્તર પશ્ચિમ પછી ઊત્તર અને છેલ્લે ઊત્તર પૂર્વ બાજુ વળાંક લે તેવી શક્યતા છે. ( 1 knot=1.85 km/hour)

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર કચ્છ ગુજરાત:

તારીખ 21 ઓગસ્ટ થી 26 ઓગસ્ટ 2015

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં સાર્વત્રિક સારા વરસાદ ની રાહ જોવા નું ચાલુ રહેશે. તારીખ 21 થી 26 દરમ્યાન અંશત વાદળ છાયું વાતાવરણ. કોઈ કોઈ જગ્યાએ છુટ્ટા છવાયા ઝાપટા. તારીખ 21 થી 23 ઓગસ્ટ દરમિયાન કચ્છ અને લાગુ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ના વિસ્તાર માં બપોરે તથા સાંજે પવન ની ઝડપ વધી ને આશરે 30 થી 40 કિમી રહેશે.
