Current Weather Conditions on 27th September 2013 @ 1.00 pm.
There has been extremely heavy rainfall over Jamnagar District, Porbandar District, Kutch & Devbhumi Dwarka District due to the effects of Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation which was located over North Saurashtra, Rann of Kutch and adjoining North Gujarat areas. The System has tracked Northwards and is expected to cross over to Southeast Pakistan near Rajasthan border area. The System is expected to track into Rajasthan within 24 hours and take a circular route passing the vicinity of Barmer, Jodhpur, and then Southeast Rajasthan during the next few days. Heavy Rainfall area for 27th would be over Jamnagar District, Devbhumi Dwarka District, Kutch, North Saurastra ( North of Rajkot) adjoining Patan and Banaskantha Districts and decrease thereafter in Saurashtra. More than 50 % of Saurashtra will have no rain.

when rain will stop in central gujarat? Is there any chance of new sysytem developed over gujarat?
Rain has reduced in Central Gujarat except few centers. For next few days there are two things to monitor. One the System that has gone to Rajasthan is yet active. Second, a Low Pressure has developed over Bay of Bengal which could affect Gujarat.
Dear Sir, As per the observations by many forecast models like BBC, CNN ,IMD, it is overseved that there is chance of rain on 2nd or 3rd Oct. in Kutch region. So is this because of current system which is still over Rajasthan? or winds from arabian see will make it. Also as per the erlier news that monsson may withdraw from Kutch now so is it true ofr still it can active in future.

Monsoon has not withdrawn from Gujarat & Saurashtra so normal rain is possible.

Sir actually how much circumferance area can UAC cover..? this time UAC was very strange…and it has given extreme rain..wat actual reason is there in UAC and wat is the difference between LOW pressure and UAC…? and accrding the satelite pictures. there seen more clouds in other parts of INDIA. how long it will continue…? OCTOBER month is near…will it cont. till october..(because in gujarat navratri is near na.will it effect navratri festival..?)
UAC is Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation. Height of Circulation could vary from 1.5 Km. to 7 Kms.
Low Pressure is Circulation at sea level or ground level.
In Northern Hemisphere the directin of winds is Anti-Clockwise
Navratri has nothing to do with monsoon withdrawal because every year Navratri changes by being early by 10 days, early by another 10 days and late by 20 Days. So it does not match with Solar Calendar.

As per your forecasting, Kutch received very heavy & good rainfall on 26th night and on 27th Sept. Still I can saw the weather warning on IMD ahmedabad for 36 hour that posibility of Extreem heavy rain on Kutch & North Gujarat. So will system work for next 36 hour on Kutch and north Gujarat?
Currently the System is in Rajasthan and moisture incursion is taking place from Arabian Sea passing over Kutch and Saurashtra & North Gujarat. I dont expect very heavy rain now for Kutch similar to what you have already received.

Yes you will get rain in Ahmedabad but not the type of very heavy rain that you received earlier.
