Hi: Is it true that Valsad gets 2000 mm of annual average precipitation? Do coastal tracts of Valsad receive as much as 1800 mm rainfall annually? Thank you.
Valsad District Average rainfall is 2162 mm. per year.
However, Valsad City aberage is 1901 mm.rainfall per year.
Dharampur is second highest in District at 2411 mm
Kaprada is highest at 2692 mm.

You can get weather data from IMD for payment of some fees.
Data for Rajkot is available. However, in November there was no rain in Rajkot.

You may contact IMD and you will get rainfall data for any location for some fees ( May be 5000/-). Please check their website.
Pl . provide rainfall data of surat,Navsari,Dang and Tapi district.

Good Statical analysis. Time distribution of Rain fall event is very important as far as agri-metrology has concerned. Indeed this shall give relief but not the cheer. I request to analyse with reference to rain fall event and qty with occurance time and time duration. This shall produce real picture for farmer and agriculture sector.
