Possibility Of Isolated Rainfall Over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat During Next Few Days & Subsequently Rainfall Area To Increase During 24th-27th July 2020

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં આવતા ત્રણેક દિવસ સિમિત વિસ્તારો માં વરસાદ ની શક્યતા – ત્યાર બાદ તારીખ 24 થી 27 જુલાઈ 2020 દરમિયાન વરસાદ નો વિસ્તાર વધશે

Current Weather Conditions:

The forecast outcome for 13th July to 20th July 2020 is as under:

80% Districts of Whole Gujarat received average rainfall between 25 mm to 78 mm instead of 35 mm to 75 mm as Forecast & 20% Districts received 17 mm to 25 mm.

Few observations from IMD and other weather parameters:

The Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level passes through Ganganagar, Delhi, Hardoi and Gorakhpur and the eastern part lies close to the foothills of the Himalayas. In addition, the convergence of moist Southerly/Southwesterly winds from Bay of Bengal over Northeast & adjoining East India and from Arabian Sea over Northwest India at lower Tropospheric levels very likely to continue during next 2 days.

The trough in Mid-Tropospheric westerlies is now seen with its axis between 3.1 and 5.8 km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 70°E to the North of Lat. 25°N.

The Cyclonic Circulation lies over Lakshadweep-Maldives area & adjoining Southeast Arabian Sea and extends between 3.1 & 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting Southwestwards with height.
