Weather Conditions on 14th February 2020

Observations:

The Maximum Temperature has increased during last few days and is above normal over most centers. Currently the normal Maximum Temperature is around 30 C to 31 C for most centers. The Minimum Temperature today is above normal at most places over Gujarat, Saurashtra & Kutch. The current normal Minimum Temperature over most Centers is 14 to 15 C.

Minimum Temperature on 14th February 2020 was as under:

Rajkot 17.2 C

Keshod 17.4 C

Amreli18.0 C

Kandla(A) 18.6 C

Bhuj 15.8 C

Ahmedbad 18.5 C

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 15th February to 22th February 2020

The winds will be from Northeast and North on till 17th with wind speeds between 10 to 20 km/hour with wind speeds exceeding 20 km/hour during some times in the day on 19th February. The wind direction is expected to change from 18th on wards when the winds will blow from West/Northwest direction till the end of forecast period.

The Maximum Temperature expected to be above normal and is expected to increase further during 17th to 19th February. The Maximum Temperature could cross 36 C around 18th February at some places. 15th/16th Morning is expected to be colder than today. The Minimum temperature will gradually rise from 17th to 19th when it is expected to be above normal when some places will reach 16 C to 19 C. The Minimum Temperature is expected to decrease marginally towards normal during 20th to 22nd February. Due to Westerly & Northwest winds the morning humidity will increase on 20th to 22nd with a possibility of Foggy conditions over Kutch & Western Saurashtra on one to two days.
