Current Weather Conditions on 11th December 2019

Based on IMD Mid-day Bulletin:

The Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over north Afghanistan & neighbouhood at Mid-Tropospheric levels along with induced Cyclonic Circulation over Northwest Rajasthan & neighborhood at lower levels is very likely to cause widespread precipitation with heavy rainfall/snow at isolated to few places along with thunderstorm, hailstorm and lightning over Western Himalayan region on 12th & 13th December.

Under the influence of induced Cyclonic Circulation, isolated heavy rainfall is also likely over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh during the same period. Isolated thunderstorm accompanied with hail and lightning is also likely over plains of Northwest India.

Other observations:

The Minimum Temperature has declined towards normal to slightly below normal over many parts of Gujarat.

Minimum Temperature on 11th December was as under:

Gandhinagar 12.8 C

Rajkot  13.3 C which is 2 C below normal

Kandla (A) 13.4 C

New Kandla 13.4 C which is 3 C below normal

Ahmadabad  13.4 C which is normal.

Surendranagar  14.0 C

Dwarka 18.4 C which is normal

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 11th To 19th December 2019

Due to Northwest and Westerly winds on 12th & 13th December, there is a possibility of Foggy weather in morning of both the days. Also due to the effect of Western Disturbance, there is a slight possibility of Scattered showers over Isolated places of North Gujarat & Kutch on one of the two days (12th/13th). The Minimum Temperature is expected to be slightly higher on 12th & 13th December.
The winds will again become from Northeast and the Temperature will decline to slightly below normal on 14th/16th December and further decline between 17th to 19th December when the Minimum Temperature could be 2 to 3 C lower than normal. The day time temperature will also decrease by 3 to 4 C.

હાલ ન્યૂનત્તમ તાપમાન માં ઘટાડો થયેલ છે. અલગ અલગ ગામ પ્રમાણે વિગત ઉપર આપેલ છે.

વેસ્ટર્ન ડિસ્ટર્બન્સ ની અસર થી નોર્થ ઇન્ડિયા ના ઘણા રાજ્યો માં તારીખ 12 થી 13 દરમિયાન ગાજ વીજ અને વરસાદ થશે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ: તારીખ 11 ડિસેમ્બર થી 19 ડિસેમ્બર 2019

તારીખ 12 અને 13 માં પવન નોર્થવેસ્ટ અને વેસ્ટ બાજુ થી ફૂંકાશે એટલે સવારે સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ માં અમુક વિસ્તાર માં ઝાકળ ની શક્યતા છે. વેસ્ટર્ન ડિસ્ટર્બન્સ ની અસર ને હિસાબે 12/13 માં એકાદ દિવસ કચ્છ /નોર્થ ગુજરાત ના સોમિત વિસ્તાર માં છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા ની થોડી શક્યતા. ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન થોડું આજ કરતા વધે.

તારીખ 14 થી ફરી શિયાળુ (નોર્થઇસ્ટ ના) પવન શરુ થાય અને 19 સુધી તેમજ રહે. તારીખ 14 થી 16 દરમિયાન ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન ઘટવા માં અને 17  થી 19 દરમિયમ વધુ ઘટે જેથી ત્યારે ઠંડી નો અહેસાસ થાય. ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન 2 થી 3 સી નોર્મલ થી નીચું આવી જાય તેમજ દિવસ નું તાપમાન પણ 3 થી 4 C ઘટશે.
