Current Weather Conditions on 2nd December 2019
Based on IMD Mid-day Bulletin:
The Well Marked Low pressure area over Southwest Arabian Sea and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean persists over the same region with associated cyclonic circulation extending up to Mid-Tropospheric levels. It is very likely to concentrate into a Depression during next 12 hours and intensify gradually into a Cyclonic Storm during subsequent 48 hours. It is very likely to move West northwestwards towards Somalia coast during next 72 hours.
The Low Pressure Area over Lakshadweep Area and adjoining Southeast Arabian Sea persists with Associated Cyclonic Circulation extending up to Mid-Tropospheric levels. It is likely to become more marked during next 24 hours and concentrate into a Depression during subsequent 24 hours.
The Minimum Temperature has declined towards normal over many parts of Gujarat.
Minimum Temperature on 2nd December was as under:
Bhuj 14.0 C which is 2 C above normal.
Kandla (A) 14.3 C
Rajkot 15.0 C which is 1 C below normal
New Kandla 16.0 C which is 1 C below normal
Dwarka 18.8 C which is normal
Ahmadabad 19.2 C which is 5 C above normal.
Outcome for two Arabian Sea Systems: The First Low is currently WMLP and will remain stronger of the the two Lows. Hence it can affect the strength as well as track of the Second Low Pressure currently over SE Arabian Sea.
Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 3rd To 9th December 2019
The Minimum Temperature is expected to be higher than last few days from 3rd to 6th December and decline again during 7th to 9th December. The winds are expected to be from East from tomorrow and variable direction during 4th to 6th with wind speed of 15 to 25 km per hour. Winds will blow from Northeast during 7th to 9th December with wind speed of 12-20 km/hour. Cloudy conditions 3rd to 6th and clearing weather till the end of forecast period. Humidity will increase 4th to 6th December and decrease thereafter.
Since the Second Low Pressure is expected to track towards Central Arabian Sea, there is 60% possibility of Scattered showers or Scattered light rain on a day or two over Saurashtra & Kutch during 4th-6th December. Currently the possibility for Gujarat is less than Saurashtra & Kutch.

દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમ અરબી સમુદ્ર પર વેલ માર્કંડ લો પ્રેસર છે. આનુસંગિક યુએસી મીડ ટ્રોપોસ્ફીયરિક લેવલ સુધી છે. આ સિસ્ટમ હજુ મજબૂત બનશે અને આવતા 72 કલાક સોમાલિયા બાજુ ગતિ કરશે.
બીજું લો પેસર દક્ષિણ પૂર્વ અરબી સમુદ્ર પર છે અને આવતા 24 કલાક માં વેલ માર્કંડ થશે અને ત્યાર બાદ પણ મજબૂત બનશે. તે સિસ્ટમ નોર્થ વેસ્ટ તરફ ગતિ કરશે મધ્ય અરબી સમુદ્ર તરફ.
સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ: તારીખ 3 ડિસેમ્બર થી 9 ડિસેમ્બર 2019
ન્યુનતામ તાપમાન ફરી આવતી કાલ થી 6 તારીખ સુધી વધુ રહેશે। ફરી 7 થી 9 દરમિયાન ઘટશે।. 3 તારીખ ના પવન પૂર્વ બાજુ થી ફૂંકાશે એન્ડ તારીખ 4 થી 6 દરમિયાન પવન 15 થી 25 કિમિ ની ઝડપે ફૂંકાશે તેમજ ફર્યા રાખશે. ફરી 7 થી 9 તારીખ દરમિયાન નોર્થ ઇસ્ટ ના પવન 12 થી 20 કિમિ ઝડપે ફૂંકાશે. તારીખ 3 થી 6 દરમિયાન વાદળ રહેશે અને ત્યાર બાદ વાતાવરણ ચોખ્ખું થશે. 4 થી 6 તારીખ માં ભેજ થોડો વધશે ત્યાર બાદ ભેજ ઘટશે.
દક્ષિણ પૂર્વ અરબી સમુદ્ર વારી સિસ્ટમ નોર્થવેસ્ટ તરફ એટલે મધ્ય અરબી સમુદ્ર તરફ જશે એટલે તારીખ 4 થી 6 દરમિયાન સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ માં એકાદ બે દિવસ છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા થી હળવો વરસાદ ની 60% શક્યતા છે. ગુજરાત બાજુ આ શક્યતા ઓછી છે.

સર એક બીજુ જાણવુ હતુ. રમેશ ભાઈ ના વેધર ગ્રુપ ના એક મિત્ર પ્રફુલ ભાઈ એ ઓમાન નો એક વિડિયો મોકલ્યો જેમાં ત્યાં સારો વરસાદ જણાય આવે છે. આના પરથી મે અંદાજ કાઢયો કે આ વરસાદ 800 hpa ના સામસામા પવનો ને લીધે થયો હોવો જોઈએ. સર આપને સમય હોય તો મારા અંદાજ વિસે જણાવવા વિનંતી.
