Observations:
The Maximum Temperature has increased from yesterday. Currently the normal Maximum Temperature is around 34 C to 35 C. The Minimum Temperature is normal or above normal at most places over Gujarat, Saurashtra & Kutch. The current normal Minimum Temperature over most Centers is around 17 C. Minimum today 4th February 2021 & Maximum Temperature on 3rd March 2021 was as under:
Rajkot 16.7 C & 36.0 C
Keshod 15.6 C & 36.0 C
Amreli 18.2 C & 37.2 C
Deesa 16.0 C & 37.1 C
Bhuj 19.4 C & 37.0 C
Vadodara 15.6 C & 37.2 C

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 4th to 12th March 2021
The wind direction is expected be mainly from Northwest and West during the forecast period. The winds speed will be 10-20 km/hour 4th-7th and 15-25 km/hour during 8th-12th March, with some centers reaching up to 30 km. wind speeds during evening times. Due to westerly winds the morning Humidity will increase around 7th March till the end of Forecast period.
Foggy conditions expected over many parts of Kutch & Western Saurashtra during 7th to 12th March as under:
7th-9th March: Kutch & limited areas of Western Saurashtra & limited areas of North Gujarat light/medium fog.
10th-12th March: Kutch & areas of Western Saurashtra & areas of North Gujarat medium/heavy fog.
The Maximum Temperature is above normal currently and is expected to rise further to 37-39 C during 4th-7th March at many places. Marginal relief of @1C for 8th-9th March and 35C-37C range during 10th-12th March. The Minimum Temperature is expected to be above normal over most places during the forecast period.
