Southwest Monsoon Has Advanced Into South Andaman Sea, Some Parts Of South Bay Of Bengal & Nicobar Islands, Today 18th May 2019

Current Weather Conditions on 18th May 2019

As Per IMD:

In view of strengthening and deepening of cross equatorial flow and enhanced cloudiness and rainfall in association
with a Cyclonic Circulation at Mid-­tropospheric levels over Andaman Sea, Southwest Monsoon has advanced into South
Andaman Sea, some parts of South Bay of Bengal and Nicobar islands, today, the 18th May, 2019. The Northern Limit
of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Lat. 5°N/Long. 81°E, Lat. 7°N/Long. 88°E, Car ­Nicobar and Lat. 13°N/Long. 99°E.
Conditions are favorable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of South Bay of Bengal,
North Andaman Sea & Andaman Islands during next 3­ to 4 days.

The Cyclonic Circulation over South Andaman Sea & neighborhood persists and now seen between at 3.1 km & 5.8
km above mean sea level.

IMD મુજબ:

ચોમાસુ પવનો વ્યવસ્થિત થવાથી તેમજ વાદળો અને વરસાદ વધવાથી તેમજ તેની સાથે 3.1 થી 5.8 કિમિ ના લેવલ નું યુએસી આંદામાન દરિયા પર છે તેથી આજે 18 મે ના રોજ દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમ ચોમાસાએ દક્ષિણ આંદામાન ના દરિયા માં , દક્ષિણ બંગાળ ની ખાડી ના અમુક ભાગ તેમજ નિકોબાર ટાપુઓ માં પ્રવેશ કર્યો છે.
