Western Disturbance To Affect Most Parts Of North India 10th-12th December – Depression Enters Central Bay Of Bengal On 7th December 2017

Update of Weather Conditions on 7th December 2017 @ 8.00 pm. IST

The Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has now entered the Central bay of Bengal and is expected to track mainly Northerly direction initially. The System is expected to strengthen further to a Deep Depression during the next 24 hours and track towards South Odisha coast & neighboring areas by 9th December. System expected to weaken as it approaches the coast.

Remnant Cyclonic Circulation over South coastal Gujarat & neighborhood extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.

A fresh Western Disturbance is expected enter India around 10th December and is expected to be active for 2 to 3 days resulting in widespread rain for most states of North India and adjoining areas including North Gujarat & Kutch.

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch 7th December to 14th December 2017

 

The Maximum Temperature is expected to increase next two days and would become near normal. The Minimum Temperature will become normal or even above normal till 11th December. Maximum & Minimum Temperature is again expected to decline from 12th to 14th December.
Unseasonal scattered showers expected over North Gujarat & Kutch on 10th/11th December.
