Weather Conditions on 5th August 2017

 

The Axis of Monsoon trough has been running close to the foothills of the Himalayas and the Eastern end was extending towards Assam across West Bengal & Bangladesh for last few days. Hoever, today the Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level today passes through Ferozpur, Karnal, Shajahanpur, Gorakhpur, Gaya, Bankura, Daimond Harbor and thence towards Northeast Bay of Bengal.

The Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over South Bangladesh & adjoining areas now lies over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of West Bengal. The UAC extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting Southwestwards with height. Under the influence of UAC, there is a possibility of a Low Pressure developing in the area.

The is a UAC over Sindh and adjoining Kutch area at 1.5 km to 2.1 km above mean sea level.

Another UAC is over South Rajasthan at 3.1 km above mean sea level.

 

 

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch

5th to 13th August 2017
70% of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch expected get on different days scattered showers/light rain during the forecast period cumulative quantum up to 1.5 cm. (15 mm.). Sunshine and cloudy mixed weather expected.

30% of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch expected get on different days scattered showers/light or medium rain during the forecast period cumulative quantum between 1.5 cm. to 4 cm. (15 mm to 40 mm). Sunshine and cloudy mixed weather expected. South Gujarat expected to get higher quantum of rain.

The winds will incrementally increase again from 10th August and will be very high speed till the end of forecast period.

 

 

આગાહી: સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, કચ્છ અને ગુજરાત

5 થી 13 ઓગસ્ટ 2017

70% સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં અલગ અલગ દિવસે છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા /હળવો વરસાદ અને કોઈ કોઈ જગ્યાએ મધ્યમ વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે જેની કુલ માત્રા 1.5 સેમી (15 મીલીમીટર) સુધી. વાદળાં અને તડકો મિક્ષ રહેશે.

30% સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં અલગ અલગ દિવસે છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા /હળવો-મધ્યમ વરસાદની શક્યતા છે જેની કુલ માત્રા 1.5 સેમી (15 મીલીમીટર) થી 4 સેમી (40 મીલીમીટર ) સુધી. વાદળાં અને તડકો મિક્ષ રહેશે. દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત બાજુ વધુ વરસાદ ની સંભાવના.

પવન નું પ્રમાણ તારીખ 9/10 ઓગસ્ટ થી ફરી ક્રમશ વધશે આગાહી સમય ના અંત સુધી.
