The Southwest Monsoon has set in over the entire country yesterday.
The Well Marked Low Pressure over Odisha has weakened to a Low Pressure and has tracked to Central Madhya Pradesh.
The UAC over Saurashtra/Kutch and adjoining Arabian Sea has descended to sea level, so a fresh Low Pressure area has formed over Western Saurashtra, Kutch & Adjoining Arabian Sea with associated Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation up to 3.1 km above mean sea level.
The Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Center of Low Pressure Over Saurashtra/Kutch and neighborhood, Idar, Guna, Center of Low Pressure Over Central Madhya Pradesh, Ambikapur, Jamshedpur, Digha and thence East Southeastwards to Northeast Bay of Bengal and extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.

The off-shore trough at mean sea level extends from South of Saurashtra to North Kerala coast.
